Welcome To Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Patna

The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Patna University was established in 1987, as a part of the UGC's efforts to provide faculty members of the colleges and universities with opportunities for wider knowledge and enhanced professional skills. In the present day world, frontiers of knowledge are expanding fast, necessitating learning opportunities not only for students in colleges , but for their teachers as well. The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre is playing that important role for teachers of several universities, including the Patna University.

Following the UGC guidelines, the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre organizes both Orientation Courses for young teachers to expand the width of their knowledge, and discipline-specific Refresher Courses to increase the depth of their knowledge. The quality of the teaching-learning process in the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre is ensured by the participation of senior academicians from different universities of the country. In response to the requests of young teachers, the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre had to organize more Orientation and Refresher Courses in recent years and it is now hopefully playing its designated role in building a knowledge society in Bihar.
